People need to eat, but the foods available may not meet the essential nutrient contents that are necessary for a healthy living. Everyone feel hungry and need food, but the food available maybe Mc Donald's. There is a need for people to eat healthy, and benefit from healthy eating habits.
Consumption of fast foods such as Mc Donald's is growing globally with people consuming with less knowledge on the effect of the foods on their health. The problem is that people believe that fast foods are rich in nutritional content.
In the last three decades, childhood obesity has tripled. In the United State, obesity rate for children between the ages of 6-11 years has increased from 7 percent in 1980 to approximately 20 percent in 2008.
